Cumelen, in Mapuche indigenous language, means “Place of Well-being and Welcome”.
This is the feeling you have when you arrive at the pousada. Its owners, residents of Jericoacoara since many years, have built it and manage it themselves, offering a personalized service.

Location

Enjoy our chalets, located next to the Hill, the quietest and most peaceful location in Jericoacoara, a residential area with no unpleasant noise around, 50 meters away from the Malhada Beach, the best beach to sunbathe, swim and surf in Jericoacoara.

Chalets with mezzanine and kitchen

Cozy and private, with neat decoration and handicraft details, each chalet features a large veranda with hammocks looking out on the beautiful coconut garden.

On the ground floor you find the front room and a well-equipped kitchen with fridge and stove, a private bathroom with hot water and a spacious veranda integrated as another inviting room for guests to enjoy.

On the mezzanine, made with Ipê wood, you find the double bed with anatomical pillows and a fan. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the posada Cumelen at sunrise and sunset.

You won’t need anything else... simple, like Jericoacoara....
